Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens

Won't be out till end of 2014 early 2015 (from what I've heard from Sony's interviews). But yeah, I've been waiting forever for this lens.

I look forward to this lens. Internal zooming should be great for ergonomics.

And I hope it means constant T-stop too.

I had the lens in hand and can say it is a nice lens.
Constant aperture, constant length, AF or manual focus throw with end stops, manual or servo zoom.
Built quality is nice but of course not on par with cine lenses.
But it is lightweight for the range and aperture and has image stabilization built in.

For me, the focal length just doesn't work on S35 - it's good for FF (i.e. A7s) but it's not wide enough
for me. This won't be fun indoors...

The Sony guy just told us, that Sony is working on a series of cinezooms that will be out during the next 2 years.
That can be in afew month or in a few years or never....
You better take the lens, that exists now.

For me, it's still the ugly Canon 24-105 on a speedbooster and a 70-200 for the longer end.

may i know when using manual focus in 35mm and focus a object, when u use the power zoom to let say to 100mm, will the object keep in focus? or the focus point will change..cause before if not wrong i heard ppl say the zeiss cine zoom will not change focus point even u change the focal length. Never go deep for it, cause the price of cine zoom lens never can let me think about it, but now there's cine zoom lens from sony.

That's called "parfocal".

According to the Sony guy, this lens is parfocal.
Focus doesn't change mit focal length.

I did not have enough time to prove this, but it's at least
very close.
