Sony FDR-AX100 Corrupt file - Please Help

I rented a Sony FDR-AX100 to be a second camera for a stage play. I captured 3 performances with no issues. During last performance near the end the camera shut off and a brief "Recovery Data" flashed on screen before it went black. The camera came back on instantly but while the clip shows 23 gigs there was no XML data file to accompany. The camera doesn't see the file and when I copy to pc it will not import to Premiere. VLC can't play it, Rocky Mountain Converter can't convert it. Sony is no help. Sony Media services has no answers. So as a last ditch effort I appeal to you all for any clues if this clip is recoverable. Is there a program that can examine clip and write the proper xml data file or is file so corrupt it can't be fixed. I have talked to Rental Company, and while very supportive did not have any solutions.

Any and all input greatly appreciated. It's not the end of the world as I have other 4k second camera video of different night performances but would love to retrieve this.

Recorded at 60mbs 4K 24p on a Scandisk Extreme plus 80mbs SDXC 1 10 128 gig. (Note: had no problem with 6 other 90 min recordings using same Card, reformatting in camera after each transfer and use)

Thanks in advance
Roy
