I am flying this camera on my steadicam rig in afew weeks, and I just wondered if anyone knew the outputs? Does it have any SD outputs? My monitor is an SD one and it wont accept HDSDI. Last time I flew a camera like this (red cinema camera) I had to use the cameras own monitor which was a pain in the arse.

Any help would be great.
 
It has been a while but I seem to remember our F900 hooked up to an ntsc monitor at a shoot a couple of years ago. The only reason I remember is because there was some wierd temporal problem when viewing 24p on that monitor. I guess that makes sense as it was a CRT and probably did not have a mechanism for adding pulldown. Either way you COULD see pictures but like I said due to the limitations of the monitor there was a wierd result. Or I could be wrong :)
 
I seem to remember that the F900R (and only the R model - not the original F900) had an optional downconverter board, but that it was indeed optional, and that many houses didn't buy it. I'd give whatever house is renting out the kit a call and see what they have and what you'd need to put it together. Probably a little Miranda or AJA box would do the job.
