"F65 will be able to capture 8K, 6K up to 120fps w/ firmware update! Red can’t compete, though I think it’s not about resolution! #fb" this is a tweet from Sebastian Wiegartner, one of the first people who saw The New F cameras. I'm NOT sure whether it's 100% confirmed or not but its coming from a trusty source. Guys exciting times are coming! Industry is changing!

I personally don't have too mush interest in buying any camera at the moment, so I would like to know about the upgrade to the F3. After all this is the F3 forum.
 
I can't even begin to imagine what the new firmware will do? I'm pretty happy with v1.4 and free slog, but I'm sure it will add something good.

I love to shoot at off frame rates like 34 frm slow-mo and 18 frm like super 8 NOT fast motion. At the moment you can't, but I use to do that year ago with the HVX200. That was 720, but I want to be able to do it at 1080.
If you are selling your F3 of course, but at the moment I don't have any reason to buy a new camera.
If you don't need the features that the new cameras have, there is no reason to upgrade. I'm tired of making other people rich whenever I buy a toy.
