Couldn't find this any info with the search tab about this,

What would you say a Sony F35 weighs with these accessories?

EVF
7q+
IF BOX
Zeiss Superspeed mark II
Carbon fiber 6x6 clamp on matte box
Goldmount Battery

Basically trying to see if I could use a cinema easy rig 20-30lb rated load. I will mostly be shoulder rigging it and sometimes floating it on my stomach.

Thanks in advance!

Was gonna try and do the math but it seems like I get a lot of weight specifications for the F35 plus recorder. Just confused what the actual base weight is.

F35 with top handle, IF box and viewfinder are just shy of 15lbs, I'm sure you could get it under 30lbs. I'd say you'll be at 23-24lbs

Forgot about the battery, depending on what size it is you might be actually at 26-27 lbs

Okay great, I'm sure I won't let it hang often as well so I think I'll be good. Thanks Hunter! Just don't want to break an easyrig I'm renting and have to pay for it. Haha.

Dont quote me on this and I wouldnt recommend it but I think it would be hard to break an easy rig- the weight limits are based around the counter balance spring, not the mechanical limit of the cord or clip. I wouldnt push it too far but a few pounds should be fine.

When I had my F35 I ran it with 19mm rails, Tilta shoulder pad and dovetail plate, Tilta handles, Sony EVF, 195wh v lock brick, RED 19-50mm lens and a Samurai it all weighed in at 28 lbs. Figure the 7Q will be a smidge heavier than the Atomos, but not a lot. A 30 lb Easy Rig should handle that fine.
