Hey guys I haven't seen very much footage with the F35 paired with Anamorphic glass so I figured I post up a few graded grabs from a short Im working on. Btw, grade was built from scratch in Resolve with no LUT's. Anamorphic glass is a Vintage Kowa Prominar. No denoiser applied

It is a 2x squeeze is it?

Which taking lens?

btw the grabs seem very small, at least in my browser.

I did play with anamorphics on the F35, but the resolution is just too low and lenses are too soft for crop sensors...

Oh wow!!! thats an awesome comparison Macgregor...thanks for sharing this. And yea I agree the image does seem to become just a bit more soft with Anamorphic glass...But, I cant lie though I still like it (maybe just my taste though) ...Btw, Macgregor you seem to have every kind of comparison there is with the F35! I love it!!! I sent the Amira vs. F35 comparison you posted up on here to a friend who's thinking of purchasing the Amira and has been down talking the F35...So you pretty much helped me silence him and now he completely agree's with me that the F35 is a BEAST!! ..Thanks for everything!

Hello! I understand you have x2 compression ? you get the cropping frame on the sides?

I keep coming back to this- do you have any more from this project - I'd love to see a larger image

There are actually a couple of lens options for 1.3x anamorphic - Hawk made a set of lenses with that squeeze, Luma Tech have also just introduced a 1.3x adapter for their Illumina S35s too - just as I got rid of mine! Typical.

Personally I am not a big fan of 2x anamorphic on 16x9 sensors as I think it defeats the point, but whatever floats anyone's boat :)

I like the softness and smoothness of it - taking the digital edge off - I'm eying Letus Corp's offering in honor of my Letus 35 adapters I used to use.
