Sony F35 vimeo channel

Hi James. What lens plate on you using on your F35, Nikon? I think I am going to switch over my PL one for it, so I can use some quicker lenses I have to hand. Must pop up and see you for a beer as I am based in Westcliff! Thanks, Sparky

I am quite a traditionalist and I am using the original PL mount with mine.

You're always welcome!

Thanks James. Just out of interest, are your Zeiss lenses naturally pl mounted or did you have them converted? Thanks.

My lenses are the later MK2s, which only ever came in native PL mount.

You're welcome to have a butchers sometime, I'm only an hour from Westcliff/Canvey

I've concluded that camera tests are boring. Much better when they masquerade as micro films. Hey, it's worked for Phil Bloom. heh.

All shot, edited, graded, etc. in less than 3 hours.

This test was for two things:
  1. To test my newly acquired vintage Angenieux 20-120 f2.6 cinema zoom. Conclusion: Vintage glass on the F35 is some tasty sauce.
  2. To see what the results are of shooting tungsten WB outside during the day for a cooler look, and to see how flexible the footage would be in post doing it that way. Conclusion: Interesting results, but not at all limiting.
Grading info: Resolve, Input 3d LUT: slog to cineon, Output 3d LUT: cineon to Kodak 2393.

Scintillating behind the scenes photo...
