Love the restraint in the staging. Excellent choice to let the sweep of the landscape provide the visual motion in the scene. The grade is nice.

One grading critique would be that for he close up shot at 1:45 & repeated again at 1:55 your secondary power window feels really obvious (the darkness gradient on screen left is too strong and could use more feathering). Also if you look at the exposure for your extra long shot at 0:15 and the behind medium at 2:13 you'll see that the second shot is a half to full stop lower. I realize that this is due to the shifting of the sun over the duration of your shoot, however this creates a bit of a continuity bump for the viewer so you could equalize those exposures a little bit.

Really nice stuff!

MacGregor lut - i gotta download that - now where is it? Boom there is it -http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?318541-Color-grading-the-F35

Nice. Strong composition. F35 subtle muted tones work well, as always.

I agree with the power window statement . Personally I reckon the shots could "pop" a lot more from CC without interfering with the feel/ tone of the shots. But that's a personnel preference.

Only crit. is the wide shot of him walking down the hill towards the ice flow is held waaaaaaaay too long IMO.

But then again it's a test.

I ordered a few lomo lenses from some reputable dealers in the Ukraine after seeing this - wish me luck!
