Hello group:

So I am experiencing dead pixel issues even after doing like five black shading passes. My friend who is good at fixing f35 issues isnt around. And in case i cant get a hold of him. Is there a reasonably priced place in LA that still services our camera? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Keep trying the black shading. 5 times is just a number. I have to do 20 times or more one time to get it.

By cut off point I meant a number in which black shading no longer works and you have to do an alternative method to remedy the issue.

Oh ok. I remember doing more than 5 times and I remember it helping. I think it can't hurt?

@Mike, going to call you the Dr. from mow on, resurecting the threads!

I average 6 times on my F23.

Hey Mike, just had a look at the release notes for that latest F23 firmware.

Technical Bulletin 20-2010-095R

"Executing APR Operations for All RGB Channels
When the ABB switch on the camera main unit or on the assistant panel is pressed and held for five seconds or longer, ABB is performed, and Auto Pixel Restoration (APR) is executed on all RGB channels. Usually, a single ABB operation performs APR on one channel only."

I saw that when i updated.. im just doing a little extra everytime because my camera was sitting in deep storage at VER in Vegas.. just giving it a little extra TLC to wake it back up. Hadnt been turned on since 2016.
