[eddavid]

In case it ever goes off the Sony site, I put it on my website for all to download here:

Smart move Ed

[sindi]

any new innovations?

[JMtheDP]

Sindi your camera should be up to date already.

If memory serves the the major things Sony introduced in the life of the F35 were 12-bit output, an ISO 800 Hypergamma and CINE-EI mode

[eddavid]

updated my link to include the latest manual, notes on how to update firmware, and the 2.12 firmware which most of you should already have - don't forget you need a weird sony memory stick up to 8 gb in size

[JMtheDP]

I think it's just a regular memory stick isn't it Ed? Ie. NOT a Memory Stick "Pro"

[eddavid]

right just a normal Sony Memory stick.

Very nice Ed. Thanks for doing that.

Just updating the Firmware links....

Official Sony site for F35 firmware v2.12 (2011) download:
https://www.servicesplus.sel.sony.com/sony-software-model-F35+02+US.aspx

the irony is real.

right just a normal Sony Memory stick.

According to the f35 manual, you can use a memory stick pro duo up to 8gigs. It’s on page 107 of the f35 manual.

Here’s a link to the manual: https://pro.sony/s3/cms-static-content/operation-manual/4000998081.pdf

I just bought a memory stick pro duo so when that comes in I’ll confirm this.

That file seems to be corrupted and the other link doesn't work either. Could someone re-upload it? Thank you!

Hey Christian,

Here's a link to 2.12 via my Google Drive, which hopefully shouldn't be going away any time soon:

It also looks like Sony's "Services Plus" doesn't host the firmwares etc anymore.
That used to be a good repository for them and seems to have vanished into thin air.
At least for me the software page now directs to the more modern part of Sony where the F35/F23 seemingly never existed.

Thank you so much, really appreciated! It's good to have this just in case.
