Hello
i have a problem to get a signal from my f35 to the old green screen monitor of my steadycam(those contrast old heavy monitors). I tried also to get out signal from the cinedeck, nothing.

do someone know the solution? Is a sdi to analogue converter (black magic offers one) necessary or is there maybe any option in the cam or cinedeck menu to get a analogue signal?

Thank you

You need to from HD-SDI to SD analog composite. Decimator, Blackmagic, AJA -- there are numerous manufacturers. Or at least there used to be. This is old school tech and I don't know who still carries these products in their line.

SDI is, by nature, digital not analog, and the SDI monitor outputs will not give you an analog SD signal for your monitor. Using a blackmagic or AJA converter is an option, but the F35 actually has you covered - just use the TEST or Remote (RM) ports instead of the SDI ports, and use the Monitor Output page of the menu to set that output to "VBS". That should give you the analog signal you're looking for without attaching and powering a separate box.
