Selling Sony F3 w/Slog & RGB444 upgrade - this allows ProRes 444 and 1080/60p recording to external recorder. Comes with FZ to PL and FZ to EF (dummy) lens adapter, microphone, SxS to SD card adapter, 1x BPU30 battery and charger. Has a little over 1000 hours, looks BRAND NEW

Also includes:

Easily the best image (in ProRes 422) that I've gotten from any camera in my career - very cinematic, sharp but not "video"-like.

Asking $2300 OBO for the whole kit. Will consider reasonable offers but this really is a spectacular deal.

PayPal or I can send you direct invoice. Free shipping within Continental US.

Can I ask what 4:4:4 recorders work with the F3?

[n90guy]

The Gemini 4:4:4 recorder will work.....

[SrtBrad]

I have the Sony F3 as well with the 444 upgrade. I use the Odyssey 7Q or 7Q+ to record my 1080 444 60 signal. Here are some tech specs for the Odyssey:

pix240 will also do 444 with the F3 as of V3.0 on the pix240

[maranfilms]

I didn't know the F3 could do 60p AT 1080, Only recording to a separate unit?

[starcentral]

The F3 can only to 720p60 internally to SXS cards, but yes externally via SDI it could do 1080p60 either through dual link or single 3G. (The recorder has to take this of course)

[voyagervideo]

@maranfilms Yes with Blackmagic Video Assist it can do 1080/60p via single 3G SDI cable in 10-bit ProRes HQ - looks phenomenal. It can also do 1080/60p to Atomos Shogun, Pix-E5, and Odyssey 7q+.

The FZ mount and E-mount have the same focal flange distance so you can just gaff tape them on! : )
