Sony F3 S-log upgrade for $899

[LuckyStudio 13]

The offer is only good till the end of March. Wonder what they have up their sleeves in April at NAB. Maybe something to fill the gap between the FS100 and F3.

Or they possibly weren't selling as my many S-log upgrades as they like and realize they are charging too much for a digital file on an sxs card.

I am hoping for something in between the FS and F3 though, that would be amazing.

What!? Where?

[LuckyStudio 13]

Hunter,

Apparently this will be an upgrade that Sony would have to install for your camera. The old $4000 upgrade is where you will get the software via an SXS card.

or a good way to battle c300 release day.

Or an F3 that shoots 1080 60p in S-Log, that's all i'm asking!

[Doctor Wu]

Timur posted somewhere they were announcing something like an "F5" at NAB. Not between the FS100 and F3, but something beyond the capabilities and build of the F3. It's somewhere in the F3 forum.
I just got a Scarlet but sounds great for rentals!
