Sony F3 - Canon EF glass adaptor?

Iris control? Any? What's the deal with the lenses for F3, when is the Sony 18 - 250 coming out?

I want a f/2.8 wide-standard zoom with image stabilization, clickless aperture, and rocker controlled zoom for under $6k. My favorite lens for crop-sensor DSLR run & gun is the Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS. When such a lens is available for the F3, it will officially be time to upgrade.

Don't think you'll find a PL lens with IS... but it sounds like the RED 17-50 T3 is the closest to what you want at the moment?

i have the RED 17-50. great little lens for the more run and gun style shoots. no IS though, and its right at 6k.
