Sony EX1 - Sandisc

I have a Sandisc extreme 32GB 30mb card , and tried in SONY EX1 and gives me a media error.
Does anyone else have experienced this?
I would appreciate some help.

Four reasons I can think of that might be the cause.

Did you format the card with the camera, if not try it. Remember if you format you will lose all footage on the card, if there is any.

If I remember correctly the older EX1 had to have firmware update for larger capacity cards. I would check to see if you have the latest firmware.

Another might be your sd card adapter. It might not be compatible with high capacity cards or the adapter itself might not be compatible at all. MxM or MxR make an adapter that accepts higher capacity cards.

Is it Sandisc or Sandisk? If its Sandisc its like buying a gold Rolecs on the street - Its not a Rolex. Just joking.

I use a 32GB Extreme with my EX1 all the time. Works great. Just make sure you have the latest firmware installed, and format the card in the EX1.
