Camera is in working condition. It has seen it's use at a conference grounds where it was used to capture events. They recently upgraded to a different HD camera and gave me this package in payment for some work I completed for them. I know it worked before it was retired, though I unfortunately have no MiniDV tapes to do any testing with, so consider it sold as is. The only thing that I can tell is wrong with the camera is a small problem with the screen. Look at the photo that shows the hours, on the upper left hand side you'll see what I'm talking about. These cameras are great for beginners and are solid workhorses. I've owned 5+ of these over the years and have never had one fail. I now have all Panasonic solid state cameras(P2, SD) so I have zero reason to keep this camera around. It isn't in perfect cosmetic condition by any means, it's definitely been used, but as I said it is working perfectly.
