Sony DHR-1000 DV and Mini DV deck

Takes both the large and small tapes. Ideal for editing, or longer term
recording when hooked to camera. Very little use (video was only a hobby'for most of the time I have owned the deck). Now I have and HVX and seldom use
DV tapes. Price: $850

This DHR-1000 Video Recording Deck from Sony offers over 500 lines of horizontal resolution, 3x analog bandwidth, and significantly higher S/N ratio, to provide stunning video performance. Component Video Recording dramatically improves color rendition and accuracy while reducing color 'smear'. PCM Digital Stereo Audio offers a choice of either: two 12 bit stereo tracks, for near CD sound quality, or one 16 bit stereo track for DAT quality recording. The DHR-1000 provides 180 Minutes Recording on 'standard' DV-180 cassette or 60 minutes on 'mini' DV-60 cassette. Digital Comb Filter separates Y/C for cleaner, sharper, more detailed images. Time Base Correction is featured for jitter-free video performance. Crystal Clear freeze frame and variable slow motion (fwd + rvs) playback give you greater flexibility in editing your tapes. Other editing features include: DV Interface In/Out that provides multiple generation dubs with virtually no loss in quality; 10 Segment Assemble Editor that's enhanced by Edit Wi...

It has no hour meter, but I still have every DV tape I have ever owned (58
1 hour tapes). Most were recorded on only once and some were only used in the camera. So a safe guess would be between 50 and 100 hours on the deck. Possibly less, since prior to this deck I had a DSR30 and much of the
footage was edited on it.

Like I mentioned, when I used this deck video was primarily a hobby and
few tapes went out the door.

It works with both the small and large DV tapes. DV Cam tapes look the same, but it is a different format with a faster running tape. DV tapes have a longer run time.

Anyone interested? I really need to sell it to buy other equipment - offers
considered and Paypal accepted.
