Hey everybody. I started this really odd idea to produce my movie Duct Tape and it's catching on / gaining momentum. At any rate, you can read further down the listing to learn more, but the bottom line is I have a Sony CCD-TRV138 that I want to TRADE. I don't want to sell it, I want to trade it for whatever you may have to offer (my hope is you live near Nashville and you have a reasonable offer, but if you don't and you have something cheaply shippable, that's cool too). Okay, more on the "why" of what I'm doing.

My intention is to TRADE it with YOU for something better.

If you promise to make the trade we shall devise a way to make that trade happen. Once done, I will take your item and trade it upward and onward -- I'm going to make a continuous chain of 'up trades' until I somehow can either trade or sell that final item to make the movie "Duct Tape." Here's a further explanation if you care; it all started with a dream and a duct tape wallet (see ducttapemovie.com). I have now TRADED this duct tape wallet with a local guy named Steve for a Snowbird Lunchbox, which I then I then bartered with nostalgic Kim (from Nashville — she WANTED the lunchbox) for a never before been used, still under warranty, refurbished Sony CCD-TRV138 Hi8 ™ Handycam® Camcorder. I'm in Nashvile but I cant think that anyone would want a Hi8 camera these days especially to trade you something of greater value. Just doesnt make sense to me.

Are the trades part of the film???

Yeah, I know it's hi8, but it was a really good trade. I started with a Duct Tape wallet, then moved to a Snowbird Lunchbox, then got this, which was awesome. It's brand spankin' new... and I did start with the wallet, so I'm definitely moving up.

As for the trading being part of the film... it's not, if we're referencing my screenplay (Called Duct Tape). However, I've been documenting everything so far with my DVX100b, so there may be a pretty cool story that emerges if it continues to go the way it has....

We'll see...
