sony ax100 info

I don't mean disposable, I mean the consumer product line, Sony and Panasonic have the original birth line for broadcast, such as xdcam and other product lines, the products are different in the life of the sensor and the board, I have seen cases of ax100 where the board burned out, because several times a week were used At the wedding and for consecutive hours...

i see..don't knbow what to think..so this should be the same for all the consumer product line, ax33,ax 43,ax 53..and camera also?i dont know..is there lots of people complaining?

I m was interested in its previous model, cx900, the specifications were ax100, but it was not 4k, and the specifications are close to RX10 II, but I could not buy it, but I rarely hold the camera, a few hours a month! It depends on what you use them for, I don't know much about ax33 and ax53, but I saw ax100 cases that burned due to overuse... Of course, I only told my experiences.

If you have an ax100, use it, it is definitely a good camera in 1080 xavc, maybe similar RX10II.

i have a zv1..whic seems better for iq , af and other things. Of course it is not a camcorder and has other limit. SOme are saying to use the ax100 at 2k..but if this is the optimum then i rather give it away as 4k is what i want!. Ax100 has many of the nice things of a camcorder..which is really appealing for me. But the output it gives seems easily surpassed by most of younger tools, like the little zv1..though

Yes, the ax has high specs, similar to the rx10 ii
which is the most powerful Sony compact camera in 2014

hello i have just got a sony fx100, i bought it used

At first..i am worried about noisy image when panning. When record at 6mbp it is terrible. At 100 no, but it is really evident the rolling shutter (all at 4k)

To ax100 owner..are there any things to do to get the best out of the camera berfore everything? I have always used mirrorless..so camera may need different treatment

Also..i want to understand if these things are nomral or this is a faulty copy

Thanks

As far as I know, the rolling shutter is related to the resolution. In 1080, it may be less, in large sensor cameras, even A7s3 is slightly visible, also set the shutter to 1/50 or 1/100, if you have to move in a certain view, or With the camera in hand, set the shutter to 1/100.

Sounds like you have only two options:
1) Upgrade to a more expensive camcorder.
Or
2) Quit the business

Rolling shutter is present in all cmos cameras but less in some, ax100 is a good and economical camera, maybe a more expensive camera is in the same range. Rather, you can know by testing whether your camera is working properly or not.
I remember that there was a roller shutter in Panasonic gh1, but it was much better in gh2, to an acceptable level. (and ax100 is newer than both)

There must be a reason to move to a more expensive camera, the best way is to experiment...

I have a fuji xt3 and zv1..i am not in the need of a better camera. I wanted to try the taste of using a camcorder
