Sold. including PayPal and shipping to CONUS. This is a rare deal on this item. Say goodbye to the nightmares of dead hard drives. Pictures available in this craigslist ad:

Sony ODS-D55U in excellent condition. Hasn't been used much for this type of system. Current use statistics are:
Operation hours: 1142 / Laser Parameter: 171 / Seek Counter: 76 times / Spindle Running Hours: 143 / Inject Counter: 59 times / Select & Carry Counter: 472 times
This information is from the Sony Optical Disc Archive Utility. For those that know, this item is just getting started and these machines are very reliable. Updated to the latest firmware and ready for a new home.
I'm only selling because I have two machines and don't need one anymore. If you're looking for a rock solid backup system this is your answer right here. I'm unable to post pics here but will post a local Craigslist ad with pics and provide the link here.
Item is available for local inspection and pickup in NYC. Another note, you don't need to purchase any special software to run, just the discs, which are really stacks of Blu-ray Discs that are in the cartridges. Sony even did a saltwater test and the data was still intact, here's a link to the test:
