I have read in several places that turning on the image stabilizing system of the FF Sony A99 crops the sensor in video mode but nobody mentions by how much? Does it reduce the effective size of the sensor to same size as the micro 4/3s sensor in the Panny GH3 or less and how does the end result compare to image quality of video shot with these and other HDSLRs?
I would also like to ask if anybody has any comments about the performance of the A99's autofocus system in video mode. Is it as fast and as good in low light as prosumer video camcorders or still leave a lot to be desired?
