Sony A7S2: how do I get A7s2 LCD info to display on my SmallHD 501 monitor???

I have a SmallHD 501 monitor and Sony A7s2. As I'm filming myself, I'd like to be able to see what f stop and ISO setting I'm at. But I can't figure out how to display the A7s2 info (that shows up on the A7s2 rear LCD) onto the 501. The manual doesn't seem to cover that. I'm shooting in 4K24p. I need the video info (f stop number, ISO, etc) to display on the external monitor, not just the video picture itself. Thank you in advance for any help.

I have the same setup and there seems to be no way to do this when shooting 4k. As far as I can remember it works in 1080p mode - but I haven't tried it since I originally bought the SmallHD a year ago.

Only in HD will the overlay show. I feel your pain

In stills mode you can see the display overlay on your connected monitor. When you hit record, it switches to 16 x 9 with no overlay. Not ideal but you can see your settings before you record.
