Sony A7s Problem - Anyone having this issue?!

I own 3 Sony A7s cameras. I shoot weddings. Yesterday. One decided to start crapping out and would not turn on...until I tried again maybe 10 times. Pulled battery, etc. Nothing worked. Then it turned on and I rolled for a few minutes (during 1st dance), then I moved the camera a few feet and it shut off again and when I was able to get the camera to turn back on (took another 10 tries) I got the file corrupted message tried to recover data, but sadly that clip was gone. I wanted to throw it across the room. Luckily we had 2 other cameras rolling. But still, sucks! I've updated to the newest firmware, which, I'm not sure made things any better. Start up times still pretty slow on all 3 cameas and now this. I do have the Sony extended battery vertical grip connected as well as the XLR-K1M shotgun mic.

Any thoughts? I'll be calling Sony asap on Monday but figured I'd hit this forum to see if anyone to see if anyone else has any ideas on this.

Thanks!

May have been an issue with the vertical grip. Just spent an hour troubleshooting. Wasn't the batteries. Wasn't the battery holder. I think it was the connection between the grip and the camera. It was tight but I could bend it slightly and the camera would shut off. After pulling it off and screwing it back on again, I can't repeat the issue no matter how hard I try. Odd that it happened in the first place, but I guess I'm (tentatively) relieved that the issue "seems" to be resolved now.

Is the vertical grip the Sony item or an aftermarket one. I bought an aftermarket one which went straight in the bin as the flex caused this very issue very easily.

Its the legit Sony version from the Sony store. These have been used heavily since purchased the week the camera came out in 2014. Probably 60 weddings. Still, never had this issue. Makes me nervous going forward, although now I at least think I know what to do if it happens again. Cross my fingers it doesn't though.
