Sony A7s - Lost Battery Door

Hey all,

I just recently misplaced the battery door while testing out a battery grip for my Sony A7s.. Does anyone know if it's worth calling Sony about this? I briefly spoke to a customer service rep and they gave me the number of the parts and accessories department, but said that I may have to send it in for "servicing". It seems ridiculous that they couldn't just sell me a spare battery door. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone have any ideas?

I'd call someone like Lens Rentals or an authorized service shot and see if you can get one - or get the part number from them. A quick google search doesn't turn up anything, but there has to be a part number out there.

Thank you, I will look into this. Sony's got to have the part number.
