Hey everyone, I'm using an A7S with a metabones adapter and canon glass currently and I can't seem to get the focusing results I want or the depth of field I'm aiming for with my wedding footage. I'm typically pretty good with the manual focus but I don't seem to be able to get consistency when I'm on my stabilizer shooting around people. I understood that there is modest focus/dynamic range assist with the A7S for video but either I can't find it or it isn't working.
I was curious if anyone else had issues with this in their run and gun experience and if they know if the adapter has anything to do with it? If its the adapter, I suppose the solution is to switch to sony glass to get full functionality out of the camera. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
