Sony A7s - Clear Image Zoom Not Working

Hi all,

I've been using the A7s for about 7 months now, great little camera. I was just told about the clear image zoom function, and thought it could be useful in certain situations. I first set the Zoom Setting to "On:ClearImageZoom" and then assigned "Zoom" to a custom button. I then tried to use that custom button in movie mode and all I get is "This Function is Currently Disabled." Doesn't work in Manual mode even when photo setting is on JPEG, and 3:2.

Any ideas on what other settings could be effecting this? I use the Metabones Mark IV adapter on Advanced Mode as well.

"NOTES: The Clear Image Zoom function does not operate in the following situations:
  • In Movie mode
  • In Sweep Shooting mode
  • When the Smile Shutter function is activated
  • When Drive Mode is set to Cont. Shooting, Spd Priority Cont. or Bracket: Cont.
  • When Face Detection function is activated
  • When Quality is set to RAW or RAW & JPEG
  • When ISO is set to Multi Frame Noise Reduction
