Sony A7s beeping sound

Hi!

I have tried to research this problem, but I have not found any threads discussing this problem.

When I record a video on my Sony A7s then the audio has beeping sound - approx every 3 second it beeps 3x quite fast then again for 3 second quiet then again 3 beeps and so on.... I have two A7s cameras and both are doing this (both are early models). Now I do not know, if I am noob and only something has to be enabled/disabled in menu or it is fault. But I think it will be the first case since both of my cameras are doing this.

This problem appears when I record internally with the built-in microphone. I use external recorder+mic to prevent this annoying issue, but this way I do not have backup (not usable sound from internal recording due to beeping).

this is odd. all of my internal recordings have no beep, so it's strange that both of yours do. i've not changed any sound settings in camera as it's always just a reference track and of no real use to me, so i just let it go. what version of the 7s to do you have?

I do not have the cameras with me now, but I will check in few days after I arrive home. I have uploaded a really short sample of audio. It is doing this beeping all the time.

Please help me! Or at least tell me that I am stupid, because I am doing something wrong. Just share your opinion what this beeping sound can be. I can not believe that so many pros here can not help, pleeese :embarasse

So, according to you it is that both of my cameras are faulty and not I am the one who is doing something wrong. As a new guy in video world I thought that beeping is probably for something useful and it can be switched off, but I did not find any other thread discussing this problem. As I see even this one does not get almost any attention. Shame, because for me it is really a big problem and I would like to know, if someone else has this problem, what can it be and if there is some workaround or do I have to send the cameras to service.
