Sony A7s Battery alternatives?

What are some of your battery alternatives?

Here's one on Cheesycam that just came out. I have an Anton Bauer old skool battery I would like to use but I can't find the adapter for the battery yet.

Switronix, Wooden Camera make a P-Tap to dummy battery adapter. On the surface the Switronix one looks like the one but there are reports of interference being caused by the voltage regulator inside the dummy battery housing. The Wooden Camera one has an inline voltage regulator box. I believe that Hawk Woods makes a similar one and Media Blackout. Check Dolgin.net as well.

Here's my build following Cheesycam's tutorial
Cable tied the plate on the top with the cable held in place by the handgrip.

I'm thinking to make another plate using the Sony type batteries with the DC jack concealed inside the plate.

Here is my solution for the A7s. A very compact cage and a small but very useful shoulder brace with an external battery that runs the A7s for 4-5 hrs.

It can be ordered here:

You can order just the battery plate option as well with a 6' cable. I offer several battery plates, but the Sony E type is the most popular. I can also supply AB Goldmount or IDX Vmount plates with voltage reducer for the A7s.

I am adding a 15mm rail kit for this compact rig, it should be available in early April. All the rest of the kit is in stock now. I also carry Swit batteries for the battery plate.
