Sony A7RII pov shooting

Hello,

I was thinking about trying some first person point of view shots. I know it's usually done on gopros or equivalents, but has anyone tried it with an A7R or A7S ?
i've seen someone using a gorilla pod on his chest and the sony, but it doesn't seem very reliable...

Any ideas or suggestions ? or even good techniques and gear with other cameras?

You can use a gorilla pod as a selfie stick. I did that with the a6300. You just have to practice a little with the lens you want to use. The a7 cameras are heavy so bulk up for long takes :-D

But yes, I'd probably go with something smaller, even a gopro or similar: weight matters a lot here

I new about the pov helmets, I was looking for something lighter and more ergonomic but maybe it's the only solution for a nive pov video (and also a gopro on torso of course)
