Sony a6000

Just wondering if anyone on here has experience using a sony a6000. I only film skateboarding, I am used to shooting with a sony VX1000, but I recently started using a t3i. I am interested in switching to the a6000 for the following reasons.

1. The only 2 lenses I will ever use are a fisheye , and a servo zoom lens that sony has recently released (something that is not reasonably available for a t3i)

2. Has capability of 60fps/1080p

Are there any downsides or major cons im unaware of that a sony a6000 has?

I think the a6000 is much better than the T3i. It is sharper. It still has some aliasing/moire, but much less than the T3i (it's mostly monochrome, no flying rainbows like the Canons have). DR is a bit better. Codec is A LOT better now that there's an XAVC-S firmware update. Colors are similarly nice.

The only downsides may be battery life and heat, which I have no idea how bad they are compared with the T3i. And things like ergonomics and UI, which are presonal and depend on what you are used to and how fast you are to adapt to something new.
