Sony a6000: zebras and clean HDMI-out on a NEX body - anything else?

Sony just released the a6000, a replacement for the NEX-6.
From what I read, it adds a few improvements, but nothing huge: basically clean HDMI-out and zebras

It would be nice if that HDMI-out was 10-bit 422, as in the GH4, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is 8-bit 420.
A stronger codec would be great too, but it looks like it's the same old one (not bad, but can break badly if there's a lot of motion in the image).

If anybody gets more info on this, please post, my NEX-5N already had deep DR envy from the BM cameras, and the 10-bit envy from the GH4 is not helping at all...

I am also quite eager to know more about A6000 and where its fit for video purpose,
it will be the first NEX stills camera to have clean HDMI, guessing it will probably be the same as A7/A7R, 8bit 4:2:2.

Some very positive comments about the A6000:

I'd love to get a no-aliasing-or-moire-and-no-overheating version of my NEX-5N for $650, but I'm not sure how much I can trust this eoshd post (he says it doesn't have aliasing/moire, but I've noticed a bit of both in his downloadable video, for example at 0:29 in the lens rings, so I'd have to look at a side-by-side comparison with some other camera)

Sony A6000 sensor gets reviewed in DXO mark and its gets the highest ISO score of any APS-C size camera beating the Nikon's D5300.Bare in mind the A6000 sensor has 170+ PDAF points so a sensor without those PDAF pixels will score even higher. With that in mind ,I wouldn't be surprised if the new A7s gets the highest score in DXO mark.

Man I'm pretty damn stoked to have this as a B cam alongside my FS100.

Detail looked great though the eoshd clip didn't contain much stuff that would have moire'd out if you look at the detail of the texture of some of the camera it looks darn clean.

Can't wait to throw my speedbooster on there and get 24mp "full frame" stills out of a $650 camera!!

No Heaphone Jack but with my cheap Liliput 7 LDC HDMI on Camera is live sound.

Going tonight to compare Sony's A6000, Pana's G6, Gx7 and Nikon's D5300 together with my old D800 in a local store if everything went right. No real academic test, but the plan is just to shoot the same stuff (easy said).
Any questions?
- lowlight (obviously)
- rolling shutter
- colour
- sharpness of course (but with different lenses...)

Use the following settings on the A6000:
Portrait, contrast=-3, saturation=-1, sharpness=-3, DRO-1 (that's DR expansion, or something like that)

They're the best I've found for the 5N, and I recently received a tweet confirming they work great on the A5000 too

I'd love to see the HDMI out quality to an external recorder. If the A6000 has decent HDMI out, it will surely be my next camera. I have a 5N and good HDMI out is the only thing that I find missing on it.

I'll share some next week. Mine arrived last week with a dead screen so had to be returned and my dealer is out of stock... As soon as it arrives I'll shoot some footage to the Aromos Ninja.

I'm going to pick one up in the next day or so. Just got finished reading every review possible, and they're all good if not great ratings. Of course most reviews are along the photo side, but I recall more than a couple of mentions of less aliasing and moire than previous models. It just looks like a great "everything" camera to me.

I'd guess so: even my 5N has it (and it works really well, much better than in the Magic Lantern or BlackMagic implementations)

A question about speedbooster (E - Nikon G) on this unit: Would it autofocus with nikon G lenses?

Also what would be the exact crop factor? Its quite tempting to have this camera with a speedbooster and a atomos ninja star for documentary work.
