OK, I was given this camera (Sony A1U HDV, 1 chip) as a gift from my girlfriends dad, and it is actually really cool for a little hdv cam. my question is has anyone intercut 1080i hdv with 720p/i dvcpro? Software settings (final cut) or any technique would be appreciated. I would like to use this as a "wide shot" cam for event type productions. Either way, it is a nice gift and I can just use it for family stuff if not for pro applications. Thanks great DVX Users!
