Sony 18-200 stops at 150

Anybody have this problem? my 18-200 zooms from 18 to aprox 150 and it stops and I can get it to 200 with the right touch...something seems to be stuck. Would sony cover this? seems like an unconventional problem.

That is definitely not right. And I am sure Sony will cover it, unless it has been dropped.

This is a great thing about cameras with interchangeable lenses. All you have to send out is the lens. If you don't have another lens you can rent one or your dealer may even loan you one. My dealer did that when I had my EX3 kit lens repaired because of a jerky zoom. Sony sent me a new one from Japan, it too about 10 days but my dealer let me use one of his demo lenses in the mean time.

This is one reason I like Brick and Mortar dealers.
