FS5: Sony 18/105 firmware update

I took the 18-105 from my FS5 and use it on my a6300 when my camera fell and I broke the kit a6300 lens. Works well for me.
 
18-105 firmware is ok,but not fantastic :-) i tray to manual focus..horrible,no fine control.is not possible to correct from AF, the focus made is in front focus if i need to correct this in bake focus..is not possible.My A6300 is fantastic in AF ..price 900 usd :-)
 
I have used the lens with the new firmware extensively over the past few days - and I'm happy to say that it's almost perfect. Manual focus is easy, I can nail focus pulls 95% of the time now. I'm very impressed at how right they got it.

Well done Sony for listening to your customers.
 
Just updated using my NEX6 For use on my FS7 - I can't put my finger on it, but first impression is that focusing works MUCH better.
This is very *big news* for me, as a docco person!
I can now recommend this lens as a general work horse.
