I'm kind of excited for this lens and really excited/curious to find out what the other lenses in this series Sony plans to release. These have the potential to pair very nicely with the FX9 without (hopefully) breaking the bank like the new full frame cinema zooms Fujinon Premista's would.

If they make something like a 24-70mm cine lens in this series that would be a game changer.

Anyone have any prediction on price and future focal lengths? Hoping they're around or under $5K each

I read around Euro 5,000.. so about US$5,500.. but maybe some sellers will sell for a bit less if they buy bulk.. B&H like.. as this lens is 16-35.. I think it might be a good guess the other two will be 24-70.. and 70-200.. ?.. the 16-35 is quite large though.. I was hoping for a bit smaller size..
