I was at SonicCameras.com and saw some really low prices. I was wondering if there was any reason I should be wary of this site or if anyone has good or bad experiences?

i bought my first camera from there because yes the price is attractive, it was listed for $999 i ended up paying 4,200 (about 500 dollars over what it should have been after they made me choose between a lens (standard for 900 and hd for 1,700) i of course had to choose hd, then they tell you it doesn't come with a battery and charger, which it of course does, and then they "throw in" a bunch of accessories. Yeah i got a bag, a head cleaner and a crappy tripod, but it doesn't add up in the end, they make you feel bad and get frustrated with you and make you feel like since you don't know much about cameras that it's your fault.

they are a begginers worst nightmare, i've bought from only B&h and other otherize retailers since.

hope you find what's best!

I guess what's best is not these guys. I think I threw up in my mouth when I read some experiences about them.

I delt with them when I was "trying" to get an XL2 and what should have been the XL2's price @ the time doubled and I had to cancel credit-cards. Don't deal with them!
