So I just installed the Magic Bullet Suite on my mac, and Final Cut seemed to have really slowed down, It was ok before, but now it takes like 10 minutes to render a 25 second clip that I just applied a broadcast safe color correction tool to. Is there some setting that tells FCP to use multi-cores instead of just one?

Which Mac, OS, RAM, media drive, and sequence settings/

What version of FCP?

Does your shot also have a Magic Bullet filter? Magic Bullet filters are PAINFULLY slow to render.

I restarted it, recaptured new footage (in anamorphic DVC50 NTSC), and it seemed to be fine...It may just be Magic Bullet.
