something wrong with my video

i worked on my first real shoot with my dvx. it was super low lighting and the shots came out GREAT. I love the color. there is no question in my purchase.

one problem, i exported for a DVD right inside premiere Just to do it qucik. everything was fine, but i noticed that on any sudden movements of the camera, there was huge motion blur issues. like it was sticking or not natural. is that normal with the quick moves and therefore i need to be careful about the quick moves.

thanks guys. im getting my dvx book soon and you can be sure i will read it up.

scotman,

You'd need to post some video for us to tell. Any chance you had the shutter on a slower than normal speed, something below 1/48, like 1/24, 1/12 or something?

OR... you had your OIS on, thus causing a "stutter" or "sticking" effect.

How fast were the pans, and what mode were you shooting in? Also, did you notice this IN premiere, or just after you exported for DVD?

If only in the export, then what are your export settings?

Can you downgrade the HD to SD for output to DVD? If I get the Canon XH-A1
and shoot in HD 24F, I would suppose there is a tool to just downgrade the
footage.

my settings were just the normal transcode from premiere. it was my first export right out of premiere onto dvd. whats the best bitrate for 24p dvd
