Something strange inside my lens ????

Hi everyone,

First please excuse me for my english that i'm sure is not that good, but ....

i have a question regarding my lens. I have something inside it since a very long time. I got the camera since july 2004 but the camera is still gauranteed until july 2006, so i am wondering if i should use after sale service (support ?) or not ?

the camera has always worked nicely, really nicely ! look at the picture below, it looks like water ....does anyone have any idea about what it is ????

Looks like sunburn... The camera's lens acts like a magnifying glass - ever tried to fry ants in the sun? I usually try to shade the lens when shooting in the sun's direction to avoid burning the inside...

As far as damage, you should be okay as long as you don't see the spot's reflection in your images. Just be careful where you point the camera - especially outside, between shots, when the camera's just sitting on the tripod.
