Loved it, nice promo, hills are a killer, and those hills in winter I can't even begin to imagine. I'm also sold on the Edge 800 I want one however I just don't have the coin (450.00) right now. Thanks again I really enjoyed it.

Was this shot on S-Log? BTW... that was some of the best sound and editing for a commercial I've seen in a long time. GREAT JOB!

Yes, great piece Stefan! Camera work and editing were spot on. I used to film in the snowy mountains a great deal and love how the snow acts as a natural fill light but noticed some excellent fill with reflectors (I assume) when shooting in to the sun.

Im curious as well, was this shot with S-Log?..

Thanx guys!
Currently working on the youth olympic games, so seldomly online;-)
No, this was not shot on slog, therefor it cuts very well with some ex-1 material that sneaked in ... We shot with both to get enough coverage,
For we timed everything to sunset...
The one amazing shot to us was the DR in the shaky shot from the pickup where you can see the mountains lit in the back, while the
Valley is in the shadows. I was on the back of a truck standing, and the ex-1 mounted on the front of the car. Ex-1 was not usable due to noise in the shadows and bleading whites
The f3 is clean. Very very clean... With tons of dr even without the slog...
Everything was shot in cinegamm4 with alister chapman's settings.
To me slog is too expensive. I still think it'll get cheaper, theni'm first buying. But i could get a upcoming nikon d800 for that...so...
Lenses were: samyang(rokinon) 35mm 1.4 -wonderful lens !
And an older tamron 28-70 2.8
Sadly we didn't take enough pics for a blog ;-(
But you really appreciate the f3 for the workflow -for i edited the winter training runner male as well, which was shot on a red one mx, and without the red rocket
My machine had it's hands full converting everything to prores first as required by the prod company...
All in all i' m extremely happy with my f3 - plus i still have the option to go slog, which will help fighting the ever present need to have the latest camera-gadgets ;-)
Got the atomos samurai already and: boy, best bang for buck in a looong time!!

A great example that you don't need over-the-top glass or SLOG for a brilliant result.
Very awesome spot--great creative, brilliant shooting, nice edit/graphics! [applause]

As a cyclist and shooter this was amazing. Especially since I rode for 2hrs today and came home and just looked at my rig ! Awesome work !! The F3 is VERY clean and impressive for NOT being S-LOG. This makes me want to shoot cycling !

I'll be directing a sponsor's Tour de France commercial in the next couple of months so i might "channel" your work! Nice work. Very impressive.
