Something moving in my camrea when it's off???

Hi- I just got my camera 2 days ago. I saved up and up and up for almost 6 months while I've been shooting shorts on my faithful GL-1. When I took the camera out of the box, I noticed that something inside of the camera towards the front is moving inside the camera, but as soon as I turn the camera on, it stops. Can anyone tell me what this is??? Thanks!

ha this is the famous "clunk" noise. when u tilt it back and forward, it makes the noise right? it will make it in playback mode allso. This is normal!
