Does anyone know of media managements software for mac for cataloging video? We purchased Final Cut Server but it has been a hassle to set up and after weeks we cannot get it to work correctly. We just need a easy to use straight forward media management program.

FCServer IS a hassle to setup, but once its up, its rather amazing for media mgmt.
I havent really used anything else tho.

Do you know of any video tutorials for FCSVr? Somewhere to learn it easier than straight from the manual? I checked Lindya.com but they do not have FCSVr tutorials?

Actually im not aware of any tutorials. In my case, we had a "specialist" come into our company and do all the back-end and setting up. I'm more familar with how it works and integrates with FCP.

There are alot of enhancements im hoping they will release with the newer version.

What kind of work do you do? In some situations/projects i think FCServer is overkill.
