Someone got an FS100 in Canada?

[Jean-Philippe]

Hi there,

Do you know someone who managed to get it in canada? I can't find a dealer who have it in store or know when it will have one. I have one in preorder from a local dealer since may 26th. At that time he told me "delivery: before end of june". But now he is not so sure. I am DPing a short movie soon, prod start on July 4th, and was expecting to have the camera by then, and have a few days of test.

Now, if someone know where I can find one, I could possibly cancel my order.

Vistek in Toronto has a demo version, not sure if it's in actual stock. Should be by now, the thing is definitely out..

I just got an update from my dealer. He got on of the top manager at Sony Canada on the phone. Apparently there is 84 FS100 in backorder for Canada. 30 will be delivered by the end of month, equally spread. The rest will be delivered by mid of July... So I guess I have to prepare for the Plan B.
