Some strange error message

So yesterday I had a nice big shoot to do that was going to require 4 strait hours of recording. so i popped in one of my 16gb ridata class 6 sdhc cards (which have never failed me in the past), and let her roll. i would stop the camera when needed and switch cards throughout the entire shoot as they started to run low on space.

today i went to transfer my footage into final cut, but when i opened the log and transfer window it did not display my card or footage. i tried to choose it using a path but it would not let me. so i plugged it into the camera and i got some strange error message and then it said "attempting to fix data" or something like that and then it said there was no data on the card...hmmmmm weird.

then i put it back in the card reader to view access it through the desktop and it shows that the card has 1gb free still and all 4 mts files are there from the continuous recording. hopefully I can use the mts merger and voltaic to convert these files

All of my other cards from that shoot came out fine. the panasonic 8gb and the kingston 4gb had no problems. the other 16gb ridata works but it had a thumbnail errer but still managed to fix itself.

now dont jump to conclusions about continuous recording because this will have been my 4th shoot doing so and the fact that it only happened on the first card is beyond me.
