Some stills from "Retribution"

Posting a couple of framegrabs of a new film that I'm editing, I'm part of reluctant productions, and our director recently got his hands on a DVX, and we shot this film on a spur of the moment, so there isn't much plot, just action packed violence haha. Here are a couple of color corrected grabs. If anyone's interested after seeing the grabs, I may upload the film to our server. Right now the only films on the site are older shorts shot on 30i handy cams haha. But here goes.

color wise, the top two looks good, even though a little overexposed but the bottom one makes you look too red.
welcome, josh.
upload it to the server. I'm up to watch it. :)

These were actually shot (I believe, my friend Joe uses the camera), on factory 24p settings. I don't think he messed with any of the controls. He also didn't adjust Iris for each shot, so you're right, some were over exposed, just something we'll have to look out for in the future. And I'm probably going to upload it to our webspace tonight, before I go to bed, and let it go over the night (i'm on a 56k), and i'll upload a 1mbps quicktime file, probably. So I'll put that in the forum tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the comments. ;D

Re: Some stills from "Retribution"

Speaking of which, I rendered a short clip of the first attack in our short film, when Joe (director) and I have a chance, we'll go over it (we still have some foley and dialogue work to do, the foley work needs to be done because of the horrid sound effects we had to use in this, which are evident in the clip i'm uploading), and finalize the short, then put a final copy up here on DVX user (through way of our webspace).
