some shots and a clip. at the graveyard...

[closer1000]

went all over the place today. one of the stops was the graveyard. the lighting was just amazing. these shots and clip have the "filmic warm" magic bullet effect in place. the original shots look pretty amazing, too. click here (right click. save target as...) to download the clip. encoded in mp4. compressed quite a bit to fit on my meager 20mb web space.

Wow, really like the blown out look - could you post some before magic bullet shots? Sweet stuff tho.

Man, I love these grabs !!!

Did you do any color correction other than the Magic Bullet filter ?

Thanks,
Derrick

wow. thanks a lot guys for the positive feedback. it's much appreciated. and encouraging.

first, i fixed the link to the clip. i had to compress it quite a bit to fit on my small 20mb college student web space. but it's there. in .mp4 format.

secondly, i didn't use anything other than the "filmic warm" filter. actually, i literally just came home, edited those few scenes together, added the filter, and then let it render for an hour or so.

thirdly, the cars look amazing in motion (in the uncompressed copy). i was lucky enough to have tons of light. so i filmed in 1/500. which gave everything that was moving a very glossy look.

and finally, here are some of the requested shots of the original source...
