I am shooting with a DVX AE (pal) in 25P, usualy I shoot whit the iris OPEN and shutter in 1/25 seg or 1/12 seg and 0dB (no gain, I don´t want noise)

The certain thing is that the city and the DVX100AE do everything, I simply limit myself to frame... I Did some tests and discovered that really shooting in progressive mode (25P) I was obtaining better quality at the cost of losing light, nevertheless if I shoot to 1/25 seg. or to 1/12 or to 1/6 seg. I obtain very much enclosed detail in slightly illuminated places. I shoot with the preset of 3200 K. I proved the gain +3 dB but it was giving me noise for what I prefer shooting at 1/12 seg that to 1/25 seg and +3 dB.
