Some of the sweetest Twixtor Settings on FCP

I have Final Cut 6.0.6. and twixtor 4.5. Won't be able to upgrade until after the new year. I'm looking for some of the sweetest and smoothest setting. Any suggestions?

Hardly anything as of yet. I just purchased it. I have worked on a friends in Final Cut and found it works better with plain un complicated back grounds. When ever I tried using it with more complex backgrounds I tend to see a weird outline around my subject in the footage. The slow mo looked awesome but that edge effect really had me floored. Was wondering if there were some work arounds other than Plane Jane backgrounds. Also how well does it work with green screened footage. After keying the subject would I still have that weird outline effect. I will be home next week and I plan to spend more time with it but I was hoping to get some answers before hand.

Thanks

I would like to see some good 'presets' too. Or at least some settings that work well for people on a very average basis. I've only played with the program a bit, but I've never been able to get that true slomo look without getting horrible ghosting and artifacts. I'm shooting 720p 60/fps at above 1/200th shutter. Any suggestions?

ive been thinking about buying this plugin. but after effect's timewarp seems similar. what can twixtor to that after effects cant?

The pro version of twixtor allows you to use mattes to separate background and foreground . An example where this is useful is when objects pass by each other, you will get less artifacts and "edge dragging" compared to normal motion estimation such as with AE's pixel motion. You can actually use mattes with timewarp plugin in AE as well (timewarp is actually based on kronos from the foundry, but there is a separate kronos plugin available now as well)

The other feature is track points - you can set guide points to edges and objects - again you get less weird edge artifacting
