Some of my C4D work...

Thought I would share this video with you guys its for a potential client. Grass, text in grass and leaves were all created in C4D and the rest in AE. The integration between the two apps is awesome as long as you are working in square pixels :)! I used the C4D camera in AE to connect my trapcode horizon sky, butterfly particles, text and even sun! Also added motion blur among other things. I'm sure I left a few things out but hope you like...

The exciting part for me is I created all of this including thinking of the idea in less than a day. The AE and C4D integration surely saved me some time!

Yep it does have AE Mocha v1 bundled but you will have to upgrade to Mocha AE v2 to be able to roto with it. v1 is just for tracking while v2 does both.

I certainly have some issues with it at the moment but wanted to share it anyways. Sorry I didn't have time to do any audio mixing or sound editing. I used mostly After Effects and trapcode particular but did use some thinking particles as well for smoke trail and heat distortion.

Your really picking this stuff up quickly. One thing I noticed was the abc disk logo was blocking the text on the banners. Maybe have it move off to targets at the sides so that all of the text is readable.
Other than that and possibly a minor change in some of the pacing to quicken it up in spots, it works for me.
 
Hey Gord, thanks for the reply! That is a good point about the text being readable. I agree about the pacing for sure. All together its to long for me and some parts need tightening/speeding up for sure!

So here are some 3D match moves I've done compiled into a video. Not quite a reel yet for me because I need to incorporate some before/afters and put a little more thought into it but it will do for now. Footage in this video derives from dvx100b, EX1, and RED but I have match moved 2k film plates along with HVX footage.

I have some more match moves such as from Duplicity but I cant share the footage as they are under Non-disclosure agreements.

I'm getting some more RED footage next week so I hope to incorporate some of that into the mix!

When will they allow you to use the Duplicity footage for your real? They have to at some point, right?
 
Hey Tom thanks. Yes and no lol. I will be able to use it on my DVD reel when the DVD hits stores but I cant ever use it on a online reel.

Thanks Bluespider! Yeah, I totally hear ya on that one I plan on adding a sound mix/edit to my final abc intro. The final edit will have some things changed.

Thanks a lot Matt! That means a lot to me. When I first visited this site I was a motion graphics/vfx virgin so I'm glad you see growth in my work!

I have some more recent videos but can't show due to NDA's.

On a side note I have a interview this week and one the following week at a pretty cool production house and at a abc television station.

I will keep the videos coming for sure!
