No, it's just a boring name.
My real name only appears on credits. The reason is 'Raptor' is sort of an alter ego of sorts. It let's me get away with being a goof-off and have some fun around the forums without trashing my real name. That, I take a little more serious. If I posted with my real name, ahhhhhh, no more fun. :)

Raptor is a lot more fun... :)

Yeeppp, yepppp, yeppp...(trail off in repetitivity). That's what the woman tell me. :-Love(DBG)::-Laugh(DBG):
(Above in classic Barney Fife style.)

//Yeah Josh, looking forward to your next clip. Maybe that's your niche.

Another before after test track this time with shaky camera footage I shot. Mostly focused on the tracking process trying it out with some of my own footage purposely shot shaky so I could test track. the cg element is nothing special more like a place holder. Most of the testing is for a short film I will be starting soon and I just want to learn as much as I can. I hear getting into the vfx bizz is hard of course but I also hear their is always a need for match movers.

triplej96, dude pretty good stuff. I just checked some of your work out. I'm transitioning from max to this. Still need to find more time to get in depth. Keep up the good work,

Thank you Bluespider! I'm still a 3d newb but slowing getting it. Working on a camera projection project now with the new projection man in R11. Cinema 4d is great though and I'm sure it won't be to hard for you to get the hang of.

May I ask why are you dropping max to come to cinema just curious? Going to Mac?

From what I've seen the only thing Cinema lacks is a great particle system with not to seep of a learning curve and dynamics. Their are 3rd part resources that will help this department but still it would be nice to have it all in Cinema.

Looking forward to your work as well.

I've never understood why so many 3D apps try and put so many things under the hood. The result is inevitably a definative lacking elseware.

Cinema and Lightwave have the easiest modelers out there, and still hold the #1 and #2 spots for rendering out of the box. And Lightwave's hard body dynamics is pretty damn good also.

If you want great particles, go with Houdini. Best by far.

Triple, an reason for that shot you decided to go with camera mapping? From that height is there an advantage?
